Festivals in Malaysia (4ST )

In Malaysia,there are many festivals that we, Malaysian celebrated in a year.The festivals actually celebrated by different races.Years by years,the government announce,many festivals of different races as National Festivals.So,all Malaysians celebrated togather.

First and foremost,majority of  Malaysian  are muslims.So,the main festival in Malaysia is Hari Raya Aidilfitri.All muslims must fast for 30 days before they can celebrate Hari Raya.They fast during Ramadhan according to muslim calendar.Hari Raya will celebrated on first day of Syawal month.On Hari Raya morning,they will go to mosque to praying.After praying,they will visit relatives and friends at their home.There are variety of food served on Hari Raya.

Besides,muslims also celebrated Hari Raya Aidiladha which also known as Hari Raya Korban.Some muslim will sloutter cow,buffalo,and goat on Hari Raya Korban.The meat will be distributed to the needed muslim.

Apart from that,Chineese new year are also celebrated by Malaysian. Chineese New Year will be celebrated on the first day of  new year according to Chineese Lunar Calender.On Chineese New Year,the single or unmarried people will receive Ang Paw from people who is already married.Along with Ang Paw,they will also receive limau mandarin as a gift.

In addition,another main festivals in Malaysia is Deepavali.Deepavali is a festival of Indian.During Deepavali,Indians people will make a ‘Kolam” in front of their house door.Usuallt,the “Kolam” is a peacooks picture.The “Kolam” is made of colourful rices.They will spread the colourful rice carefully until it become a “Kolam” picture that they want.

In Malaysian,there are also festival tht is quiet popular all around the world.The festivals is Christmas.The Chhristmas are celebrated by Chrisrtian people.When Christmas is around the corner,the Christian people will decerotad a pain beautifully.The tree  is called as Christmas Tree.They will also put present for their lovely people under the Christmas Tree.

In a nutshell,there are many festivals of different races that calebrated in Malaysian togather. The festival is has become national festival in Malaysia. This can help Malaysian to keep their bound clesor to each other.As Malaysian, we should greatful this can make all Malaysian as one.
